We hope last week you were able to take stock of all there is to be thankful for in your lives—the benefits of gratitude are well documented. It got us at CareerWise all we have to be thankful for professionally, too; and it begins with you—our partners, our employers, our apprentices and our champions. Thank you for the synergy you bring to the youth apprenticeship movement. Together, we are all truly making a difference.
That difference was on full display this month during Colorado’s Apprenticeship Month (in case you hadn’t heard, the mere week that the rest of the nation takes to recognize apprenticeship isn’t enough to contain Colorado’s trailblazing work-based learning movement!). It’s a month that saw the fifth annual Colorado Apprenticeship Awards, at which CareerWise partners and apprentices were honored by Governor Polis, a release of the CareerWise Colorado Learning Report, and the publication of Harvard’s The Project on Workforce “The Options Multiplier” report that examines the many opportunities that youth apprenticeship presents to students.
