Su Hawk joined CareerWise in June of 2018 as the Technology Business Partnerships Manager to further the organization’s collaboration with technology companies across the region.
Prior to CareerWise, she was the President/CEO of CSIA/Colorado Technology Association from 2003-2012, the President/CEO of the BBB from 2012-2015, and the President/CEO of B:CIVIC from 2015-2018. During her time at CSIA/CTA, the organization grew from a small start-up to become one of the largest technology associations in the country, and the industry grew to more than 5,500 companies. She has been involved in STEM-related initiatives over the last 15 years, and is dedicated to helping others’ succeed, with a special interest toward the technology sector.
Past positions have included as VP at the Denver Metro Chamber and SVP at the Southeast Business Partnership, alongside communications and marketing positions for various companies and agencies. She also was an adjunct faculty instructor in marketing and communications at DU’s University College for nearly ten years.
Su serves on the Board of Directors for Mentor Colorado and has served on the Board of Directors for the Blind Institute of Technology, the Technology Executive Council of North America, Colorado Enterprise Fund, Girls Count, Colorado MESA, Family Tree and Open World Learning. She is the past Board Chair of Colorado PRSA and Family Tree, and a 1996 graduate of Leadership Denver. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University and is an avid hiker and a proud third-generation Colorado native.
