Kimberlee Sia is the Director of Development for CareerWise. She has more than 25 years of experience in education and nonprofits. Kimberlee’s experience led her to CareerWise where she utilizes her on-the-ground experience working with students, building partnerships, and fundraising to support CareerWise, working strategically with the team to identify and secure funding to grow and sustain the organization’s nationwide work
Prior to joining CareerWise, Kimberlee served as the president and CEO of Colorado Dream Foundation, a nonprofit providing support for youth and families in the areas of academics, emotional wellness, college and career development, and systems advocacy. She transitioned into the nonprofit space after her time as the CEO at KIPP Colorado Schools, a charter school network that is part of Denver Public Schools. She also worked as a teacher in New Jersey and California and then became a K-8 school principal with Lighthouse Academies before holding multiple leadership roles with the organization.
Kimberlee earned her Bachelor’s degree with a double major in History and German from Northwestern University, and her Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Organizations from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In her free time, Kimberlee can be found reading a good book, spending time outdoors on the slopes or trails, and cooking and baking for her family and friends.
