Executive Director

Meaghan Sullivan

Meaghan Sullivan is Executive Director of CareerWise Colorado, a nonprofit intermediary that is changing the way high school students access career through a business-led youth apprenticeship system.

Meaghan is dedicated to breaking down the barriers that stand between the brilliant young talent in our high schools and the high-skill careers needed to drive our economy. In her day-to-day work, she forges partnerships with forward-looking executives, education leaders and state officials to scale apprenticeship programs across industry sectors, redesign pathways to career, and cut through the barriers that lock students out of opportunity. She works across partners and systems to push for change toward skill-based hiring, earn-and-learn education models, validation of non-formal training programs, and college credit for prior learning.

Meaghan brings more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection between formal education, career development and industry and currently serves on Colorado’s State Apprenticeship Agency IAC. Before joining CareerWise, Meaghan worked with the Foundation for Douglas County Schools, Junior Achievement – Rocky Mountain, Pacific Science Center and the Boys & Girls Club.
