Senior Manager of Government Affairs, Denver Public Schools

Gregory was born and raised in Northwest Aurora and a proud graduate of Denver Public Schools. Gregory currently works for Denver Public Schools as the Senior Manager of Government Affairs in the Chief of Staff and Superintendent Office overseeing the districts federal, state, and city government affairs team and strategy. In addition to this work, Gregory serves as the school districts lead in-house lobbyist, and manages other key community engagement and strategy initiatives. Previously, Gregory spent three years working with Stand for Children – a membership based advocacy and community organizing organization focused on improving public K-12 education for all kids in Colorado. He served in various different rolls while at Stand, but ended his career there leading their expansion to Aurora Public Schools. Gregory currently serves on various boards including: Boys and Girls Club of Colorado Alliance, Chair; Denver Public Library, Commissioner; and the North East Denver Collective Impact. Gregory was a founding member of Montessori Del Mundo Charter School; and, he served on the Girls Athletic Leadership School (GALS) charter board for two years prior to that. One of Gregory’s core beliefs is ensuring every child (regardless of family income, ethnicity, or zip code) receives a high quality education and access to opportunities that prepare them for either college or career.
